According to the dictionary, an insurrection is a violent uprising against an authority or government. We’ve only seen a little violence to date, hard to tell what time will bring. The ever so popular Wikipedia says an insurgency is a rebellion against authority when those taking part in the rebellion are not recognized as belligerents. That definition seems to fit what is taking place in America a little better.
The Mayor of Oakland, California, Libby Schaaf, recently was notified by ‘credible sources’ of an upcoming Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid coming to her city. So the good Mayor did what any unrecognized belligerent would do… she notified those in her community of the upcoming raid. She told Fox News that she did it not to ‘panic’ her residents but to ‘protect’ them.
In her defense she is from California, she is following the lead of head Marxist, Governor Brown who has declared all of California a Sanctuary State. It makes you wonder where our Attorney General, Mr. Sessions is on the issue? It would seem that they are both committing felonies. Let’s take a look at some Federal Statutes.
8 U.S. Code § 1324 (a) (1) (A) (iii)
Any person who, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).
The key words here would seem to me to be, well, the entire paragraph. Let’s see what subparagraph (B) says?
8 U.S. Code § 1324 (a) (1) (B) (ii)
A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.
Goodness, if they punished those two for ‘each’ alien helped they’d be under the jail not in it. My question is, just what pictures to they have of Jeff Sessions that prompts him to recuse himself from the epic, Russian investigation, drag his feet on the myriad of Clinton scandals and when it comes to the Sanctuary States and Cities… the cat’s got his tongue.
President Trump surprise win was driven by a disgusted majority who’d had enough; we were Deplorables all. When he said ‘Drain the Swamp,’ we all cheered. Then we went back to watching the Bachelor; now we’re getting ready for the office pool and March Madness. Now we’d better look up from the big screen, our President is waist deep in the swamp, fighting Marxist creatures on all sides and the Deep State minions are plugging the holes as fast as he opens them. When you think about it, the chicken contributed to the meal but the pig, he was committed. News flash, the Marxist, Leftist, Democratic, Progressive cabal is committed. We’re in the midst of a full-fledged insurgency driven by the totalitarian world government folks. Are you going to be a contributor to our failure or will you be fully committed to saving the Republic? Nothing less will do.
